Covid has put real pressure on wait times (up to 5 to 6 months at a minimum for some appointments) which is a problem Australia-wide, not an MPS issue. There is a referral triage service which took just over a week, however, I would rather that this time is taken so that children can be seen by priority. After triaging, one doctor even went out of her way to put on an extra appointment for us just after hours, even though we had to wait a little while.
